ABOUT US
Welcome
At Celebration Church, all are welcome! We are a church of many views, but one family in Christ and we invite you to experience the love of God and connection of family. We are a small church with big faith. Whether the church is new to you or if you have been a life-long Christian, we believe you are important and that God has a purpose for you.
If you have any questions just ask. We are here to help.
Worship
Our Sunday worship services are relaxed and informal where we turn our focus away from ourselves and toward a great God who loves us just as we are. Our morning worship style is contemporary with music lead by a praise band. The words to the songs are projected on the front screen so you can join right in with your voice or just listen. The sermons are biblically-based and relevant. Experience worship as a gift to you from God and our congregation.
Lord’s Supper / Communion
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper / Communion every week. Everyone is welcome to participate. You do not have to be a member of this church or denomination. You do not have to be baptized, confirmed or a certain age to partake in this sacrament. We simply ask that you have a desire to know Jesus better.
Beliefs
We believe that there is one God that loves us and cares for us and that each person needs a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Our faith is biblically-based but we have an open-minded theology where individuals are encouraged to explore their faith in an accepting atmosphere.
We practice baptism by emersion but accept baptism by other churches.
We believe that each person has their own God-given gift and should be involved in serving the world.
Denomination
We are a part of a larger group of churches known as The Christian Church (Disciple of Christ). This provides us opportunities to do mission work, ecumenical activities, youth ministries, and support Christian colleges and seminaries on a global scale.
Our Mission
We are called to:
Shine God’s Light,
Study God’s Word
Love God’s People
Serve God’s Kingdom
